New Job Opportunities with Geospatial Data Science Group: University of Glasgow

We are pleased to frequently announce several new job openings at the University of Glasgow, within the College of Science & Engineering, School of Geographical & Earth Sciences. Available positions of include:

  • Internship opportunity
    • Who's Eligible: Undergraduate student in the middle years of their degree (i.e. not in their first or final year) to work with us for 8–10 weeks this summer. We welcome applicants from any UK university; however, please note that applicants must be classified as Home/EU for fee purposes.
    • The Project: Explores the characteristics of AI-generated software in geospatial science. The student will help develop a comparative dataset of AI- and human-written software, contributing to a wider project on the ways in which AI is changing the science we produce.
    • Compensation: Stipend of £470 per week for the duration of the project.
